Description

The Sc2 AI Arena Beginner Ladder provides a gentler introduction to Sc2 AI development than the main Sc2 AI Arena seasonal ladder - ideal for students and those learning programming for the first time.

Games are limited to the Terran race and a single map with a simplified tech-tree.

This ladder was inspired by and originally run as a public pre-season for the StarCraft II - AI Cup, competition organised by PhD students of the Department of Computer Science Palacký University Olomouc. They have kindly allowed us to continue their ladder as a beginner ladder for Sc2 AI Arena, along with use of their simplified custom map.
