NikbotLearns creates two files for every opponent it faces: actions.txt and score.txt. The actions file holds a list of actions the bot should take and what iteration it should take the action at. At the end of a game, NikbotLearns calculates its score for that game. If the score it achieved that game is higher than the score held in score.txt, then the actions it took that game are saved to actions.txt. On every step, Nikbotlearns has a small chance to replace the action at that step. The chance is higher when NikbotLearns had a low score last game, and the chance is lower when NikbotLearns had a high score last game. Over time, NikbotLearns should hopefully fit itself to each enemy it encounters individually. |
