Biography

MicroMachine

Introduction

Often referred as MM, MicroMachine is a C++ Terran bot that plays a few builds: proxy Cyclones, Reaper early expand, one base 1-1-1, proxy Marauders and two bases Planetary Fortress. It also adapts its army composition based on observations during the game. The use of pathfinding with influence maps allows it to micro precisely its fast moving units. Its engagements are decided based on a combat simulation library called LibVoxelBot. MM used to be open source and downloadable, but too many author have abused of this by developing snipes in secret for tournaments, so it is not anymore. Power level

MM has beaten numerous players from Bronze to Diamond rank. However, it got destroyed against GM player MaSa during ProBots 2019 s1 and by EnderSword (Master rank) during ProBots 2019 s2. After Probots 2019 s3, it gave some challenge to GM player Steadfast. In January 2020, MM played multiple games against the GM player and popular Russian youtuber Alex007 and won once against a cheesy proxy Battlecruisers build. The YouTube video got over 200K views!
